Abstract

Thes throttle (1) is in front of a second valve (2) which is held open by a spring (3) which also keep open the fuel valve (4) and the gas valve (5). The pump (6) supplies fuel through the valve (4) to the exhaust heated gasifier (10). The gasified fuel flows through the valve (5) and to the engine via the distributor (14). Increasing gas pressure closes the starting valve (18) and alos tends to close the valves (5) and (2). Opening the throttle (1) to increase the air flow also increases the pressure on the valve (2) which tends to open it together with the gas valve (5) so increasing theeflow of gas in proportion to the air.
