Abstract

The material is delivered in the form of a roll. The roof structure has steel sections running across its width and these support the edges of the material which is held at roof level by a frame. The end of the roll is fixed to one wall, pulled across the supports and tensioned by a winch. The material forms a shallow upwardly curved channel whose edges are clamped between the inclined surfaces of jaws whose spaced is controlled by high tensile bolts. Jaws form connections between adjacent sheets of the material.
