Abstract

The compsn. contains a soln. in an aq. medium (I) of a synthetic high mol. substance (II) and 0.3-5 (0.5-3) wt.% surfactant (III) w.r.t. (I) + (II). It is used for glueing a pile of pressure-sensitive copying papers along one side, in which the pile is in a no. of batches of a top sheet and underlying receptive sheet(s) and the uncoated surface of the top sheet of each batch is opposite to the uncoated lower surface of the next batch, so that a coloured copy forms on the receptive sheet on applying pressure to the upper sheet. Bonds of high strength are obtd. between individual sheets and of low strength between individual batches, so that the latter can be sepd. easily.
