Abstract

1490173 Laminates SEIBU POLYMER KASEI KK 10 Dec 1975 [11 Dec 1974] 50702/75 Heading B5N A wall decorating material comprises a sheet of paper, a plurality of areas of adhesive synthetic resin applied to one side of the sheet at appropriate intervals and a coarse-woven cloth, e.g. Victoria lawn made from staple fibre or flax, adherent to the areas of synthetic resin. The resin, e.g. molten polyvinyl chloride or acrylic resin emulsion, may be applied to the paper sheet as zig-zag lines, stripes or dots and the paper then heated by passage through a heating furnace to gel the resin after placing the cloth thereon. The paper and cloth may then be pressed together by passage through printing and/or embossing rolls.
