Abstract

Automatic switching control of vehicle headlamps involves a relay contact which is interposed between the headlamps and the current supply source. The winding of the relay is connected to a control module. The input nof the module is connected to a light intensity detector, which switch the control module from a non-active to an active state or vice versa. The lamps are automatically switched on when the ambient light intensity falls below a given value, and they are automatically switched off when the ambient light intensity exceeds a given value.
