Abstract

An automatic switch is for side and head lamps and trafficators for road vehicles. There is a receiver section for light, an electrical amplifier section which receives its input. This acts on an electronic or electro mechanical section which switches the lamps on and off. The automatic switch puts hand switching out of action. The amplifier receives input from a light cell and is associated with a timer. The receiver part can be a photoelectric cell, a phot voltaic one, or a phtomultiplier. A regulator circuit (10) is also provided for adjustments.
