Abstract

A needle for both knitting and crocheting consists of a long slender hollow needle with a sharpened end. On the needle and near to its point a ring fits and can be moved to vary its position relative to the point. There is a holder which slides over the butt of the needle or the holder may be an enlargement of the needle itself, and a continuous length of thread can be passed through the needle to be manipulated at the point.
