Abstract

The napkin comprises a compressed, absorbent pad with its edges folded over to face each other so that the pad almost surrounds a sheet of cellulosic material which by its capillary action, distributes liq. throughout the pad. This pad assembly is sandwiched between a waterproof sheet and a porous sheet which are joined at the edges and extended to form fold over flaps which present waterproof faces to the skin of the baby's thighs, protecting it from dampness working back from the absorbent pad.
