606,320. Catamenial supports. BOSSINE, C. A. Feb. 14, 1946, No. 4606. [Class 81(ii)] A sanitary pad support comprises a flexible waterproof sling 1 and an apertured sheet of less flexible waterproof material 2 sealed to the sling along its entire outer periphery to form a watertight joint and standing up from the sling to form a pocket. The edges of the sling 1 and sheet 2 may be folded inwards before sealing to provide a spring effect. Supporting straps 6 may be secured between the ends of the double tapered sheets 5 secured between 1 and 2. Alternatively the tapered ends may be extensions of 1.
