Abstract

A truss comprises a belt of elastic material which is formed into a V-shape over the pad and a crutch strap extending from outside the apex of the V rearwardly between the legs and up to the back of the belt, to which it is adjustably secured. Two such belts may be worn for a double hernia or they may be combined to have a common back portion. Specifications 246,658, 293,075, [both in Class 81(ii)], and 456,615, are referred to.
