Abstract

Canoe made of synthetic resin as a single hollow moulding is shaped to provide decked compartments at each end and along each side of the cockpit. Pref. the upper or deck surface on each side of the cockpit is sufficiently convex and the side buoyancy sufficiently great that no water will enter the cockpit of an empty canoe floating or rolling through any angle. Pref. the underside features >=1, pref. 3 ribs to provide directional stability on the water.
