Abstract

Fibres are fed to spinning machines by a system in which a flexible fibrous belt is located between a first smooth roller and a control member for the fibres. A second roller has flexible and elastic covering and rotates in the opposite sense to that of the first roller and with a greater peripheral speed than the first roller. A delivery pipe has a lower end that can be connected with an under-pressure zone of the spinning machine, and this pipe runs close to the downward side of the contact line between the two rollers and is connected with ambient air by a suction pipe.
