Abstract

Device has two segmental suction throats extending along the nip, an axial length corresponding to two thirds only being reserved for fibre feeding, the remaining third along which the peripheral sped is reduced considerably serving to prevent the excessive twisting. Excessive twisting by the drum and twisting by draw off rollers is prevented.
