alloy powder for the prodn. of electrodes for condensers made of ceramic composites, is prepd. from eg. and aq. suspension of Pd-Ag carbonate obtd. by pptn. of the carbonate with an alkali carbonate from a chloride-free soln. of Pd- and Ag salts by reducing the Pd-Ag carbonate to metallic Pd-Ag by the addition of e.g. Na formate ammonium formate, hydroxyl amine, hydrazine sulphate or formaldehyde, in the case of Ag carbonate, and Na borohydride, Na hypophosphite, hydroquinone, hydrazine sulphate or formaldehyde in the case of Pd carbonate.
