Abstract
Sepn. is carried out in a high rate, continuous plant which is entirely automatic. Particles are fed at a controlled rate into a liquid of intermed. density to form a suspension in an agitated sepn. vessel having top and bottom take-off pipes for suspended fractions to have the vessel via motorised control valves; each fraction is drained into a set of collecting hoppers and the liquid. is recycled to the sepn. vessel. All process parameters can be set from a programme control panel.
