Abstract
Alloyed white cast iron consists of: C (as carbide 2-4% Si, 0-2% Cu, 0-2.5% and/or Mo, 0-1%; (Cu + Mo) >0.1%, and Mn, 2.5-6%. The alloy contains a carbide phase, pearlite phase, austenitic/martensitic phase, but mainly evenly distributed martensite, and has BHN >500.
