Abstract

Tamper-proof bottle closure has a semi-rigid capsule whose skirt has an annular projection on its inner wall, to click elastically below a relief on the bottle neck. The capsule has a locking ring which, after corking, is below the projection, to oppose the extraction of the capsule and guarantee the authenticity of the contents. The ring is pref. of polystyrene and is inextensible, independently moulded piece with a closed profile, such that it breaks automatically when the capsule is extracted.
