Abstract

Core has the general shape of the racket assembly and is clothed with a coating of laminated plastics which impregnates a glass fibre sheat, whose fibres are mainly oriented along the direction of the forces expected during use. The assembly is then placed in a mould and pressed into its final form, while the resins are polymerised. Preferable the core is of wood or a cellular synthetics.
