Abstract

Multistage fan accelerates air, and has several pairs of rotors between the inlet and outlet of its housing, separated by fixed plates to guide the air to the centre of the next pair. The air enters the centre of a chamber between the 1st pair of rotors. After being ejected from their periphery it returns inwards via a passage delimited by 2 fixed plates and enters a chamber between the next pair of rotors. Specifically broken yarn ends are collected by suction.
