Description
Procédé de décalaminage et de protection contre l'oxydation des produits sidérur- giques fabriqués à chaud et dispositif permettant sa mise en oeuvre. La présente invention est relative à un procédé nouveau pour le décalaminage et la protection con tre toute oxydation secondaire des pièces ou acces soires de fonderie, notamment dans les produits sidérurgiques, produits à chaud, etc., et elle con cerne également un dispositif permettant la mise en aeuvre de ce procédé. Jusqu'à ce jour, on dé calamine les pièces encrassées en projetant de l'eau sous forte pression sur le produit porté au rouge. Sous l'action combinée du refroidissement brutal et de la force de l'eau sous pression, la couche de calamine est détruite puis expulsée à grande vitesse. Cette méthode est particulièrement efficace mais elle présente le grave inconvénient de ne pas s'opposer à la formation d'une nouvelle couche de calamine.
