Claims (14)

1. Förfarande för framställning av substituerade karbonsyror eller derivat därav, kännetecknat 5 därav, att man (i) vid en temperatur av ca 100-200°C reagerar en bland-ning av (A) en alifatisk polymer av ett lägre olefin, med (B) en sur reaktant, vilken valts bland fumarsyra, itakon-syra, maleinsyra och anhydriderna, lägre alkylestrarna, 10 acylkloriderna och acylbromiderna av nägon av de nämnda syrorna, i närvaro av ca 0,05-0,1 ekvivalenter klor per ekvivalent av (A) tills allt klor reagerat för bildande av en första mellanprodukt; (ii) fortsätter reaktionen i fränvaro av klor vid en tem- 15 peratur av ca 180-250°C tills en omvandling av 0,4-1,1 ekvivalenter av (B) per ekvivalent av (A) erhällits för bildande av en andra mellanprodukt; och (iii) reagerar den andra mellanprodukten med ca 0,2-1,5 ekvivalenter klor per ekvivalent av den i steget (i) an- 20 vända föreningen (A) vid en temperatur av ca 180-225°C.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att (B) är maleinsyraanhydrid och att reaktionssteget (ii) fortsätts tills en omvandling av 0,5-0,9 ekvivalenter av maleinsyraanhydriden per ekvi- 25 valent av (A) skett.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, k anne - t e c k n a t därav, att (A) är polyisobuten och att ca 0,3-1,0 ekvivalenter klor används i steget (iii) per ekvivalent av det i steget (i) använda polyisobutenet. 30
4. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känne tecknat därav, att (A) har en medelmolekylvikt i omrädet ca 500-3,000 och att förhällandet ekvivalenter av (A) till (B) är frän ca 1:0,8 tili ca 1:2, varvid den första mellanprodukten karakteriseras av omvandlingen av upp 86 83786 till 0,2 ekvivalenter av (B) per ekvivalent av (A).
5. Förfarande för framställning av kolvätesubsti-tuerade bärnstenssyraanhydrider, kännetecknat därav, att man 5 (i) vid en temperatur av ca 100-200°C reagerar en bland- ning av (A) en alifatisk polymer av lägre olefin, med (B) maleinsyraanhydrid i närvaro av ca 0,05-0,15 ekvivalenter klor per ekvivalent maleinsyraanhydrid tills utvecklingen av ytterligare väteklorid upphört, för bildande av en förs- 10 ta mellanprodukt; (ii) fortsätter reaktionen i fränvaro av klor vid en temperatur av ca 180-250°C tills en omvandling av 0,5-0,85 ekvivalenter av maleinsyraanhydrid per ekvivalent av (A) uppnätts, för bildande av en andra mellanprodukt; 15 (iii) reagerar den andra mellanprodukten med ca 0,2-1,0 ekvivalenter av den i steget (i) använda föreningen (A) vid en temperatur av ca 180-225°C.
6. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 5, kännetecknat därav, att (A) är polyisobuten med en me- 20 delmolekylvikt av 500-3,000.
7. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 6, kännetecknat därav, att den första mellanprodukten ka-rakteriseras av en omvandling av upp tili 0,2 ekvivalenter maleinsyraanhydrid per ekvivalent av (A).
8. Substituerad karbonsyra eller derivat därav, kännetecknad därav, att den framställts ge-nom förfarandet enligt nägot av patentkraven 1, 2, 3 och 4.
9. Substituerad bärnstenssyra eller -anhydrid, kännetecknad därav, att den framställts genom för- 30 farandet enligt patentkravet 5.
10. (Substituerad karbonsyra)-derivatkomposition, kännetecknad därav, att den framställts genom reagerande av ätminstone en su-stituerad karbonsyra eller ett derivat enligt patentkravet 8, med en reaktant, vilken 35 valts bland II 87 83786 (a) aminer, vilka karakteriseras av närvaron av ätminsto-ne en H-N < -grupp i strukturen; (b) alkoholer; (c) reaktiva metaller eller reaktiva metallföreningar; 5 (d) en kombination av tva eller flera av (a)-(c), varvid komponenterna i (d) reageras med nämnda ena eller flera substituerade karbonsyror eller derivat samtidigt eller i vilken följd som heist.
11. Koncentrat för formulering av normalt flytande 10 bränslen eller smörjkompositioner, kännetecknat därav, att det omfattar ca 20-90 vikt-% av ett normalt flytande, väsentligen inert organiskt lösningsmedel/utspäd-ningsmedel, och ca 10-80 vikt-% av ätminstone en substitu-erad karbonsyra eller ett derivat därav enligt patentkra-15 vet 8.
12. Koncentrat för formulering av normalt flytande bränslen eller smörjkompositioner, kännetecknat därav, att det omfattar ca 20-90 vikt-% av ett normalt flytande, väsentligen inert, organiskt lösningsme- 20 del/utspädningsmedel, och ca 10-80 vikt-% av ätminstone en substituerad bärnstenssyra eller -anhydrid enligt pa-tentkravet 9.
13. Bränsle- eller smörjkomposition, känne- t e c k n a d därav, att den omfattar en övervägande del 25 av ett normalt flytande bränsle eller en olja av smörj- ningsviskositet, och en mindre del av ätminstone en substituerad karbonsyra eller ett derivat därav enligt patent-kravet 8.
14. Bränsle- eller smörjkomposition, känne- 30 tecknad därav, att den omfattar en övervägande del av ett normalt flytande bränsle eller en olja av smörj-ningsviskositet, och en mindre del av ätminstone en substituerad bärnstenssyra eller -anhydrid enligt patent-kravet 9.
