Claims (5)
1. Förfarande för utvinning av koppar, nickel och kobolt ur skärsten, vilken innehäller koppar och svavelhaltigt material till-sammans raed nickel eller kobolt eller bäda, samt eventuellt järn, i vilken metod ingär en oxiderande extraktion under tryck av en vatten-uppslamning av den finmalda skärstenen med fritt syre, känne- t e c k n a t därav, att uppslamningens totala svavelinnehäll pa molbasis motsvarar nickeln och kobolten i uppslamningen samt dessutom 35-70 procent av kopparn i uppslamningen, och att uppslamningen innehäller atminstone 0,5 g/1 koppar, löst i vattenfasen; den oxiderande extraktionen under tryck utförs som en konti-nuerlig extraktion i ett steg vid en temperatur av 110-130°C, varvid syrets deltryck är atminstone 0,25 MPa, tills väsentligen allt sul-fidsvavel i uppslamningen omvandlats i sulfatform genom att upprätt-hälla uppslamningens pH i början vid ett värde, vilket är mindre än 5, och läta det sjunka tili ett slutgiltigt värde, vilket är inom omrädet 3-4; luten, som innehäller den största delen av nickeln och kobolten separeras frän kopparsulfathydratlutresten, vilken innehäller den största delen av kopparn och väsentligen allt järnet; och nickel och kobolt utvinns ur luten och koppar utvinns ur lut-resten.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att syrets deltryck i den oxiderande extraktionen under tryck är 0,5-1,5 MPa.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknat därav, att kopparhalten i vattenfasen av uppslamningen är 1-5 g/1.
4. Förfarande enligt nägot av de föregäende patentkraven, kännetecknat därav, att en del av inmatningsskärstenen används för behandling av luten för avlägsnande av koppar frän luten och förenas sedan med luten.
5. Förfarande enligt nägot av de föregäende patentkraven, kännetecknat därav, att icke-järnmetaller separeras frän luten genom behandling av denna med en sur lösning innehällande kop-
