Claims (13)

1. Förfarande för framstäilning av modifierade stärkelseprodukter, kännetecknat av att en uppslamning av stärkelse och en förening,som förmlr reagera med stSrkelse under förfaringsbetingelserna, säsom en oorganisk eller organisk syra, en flervärdig alkohol, en flerbasisk syra eller syraanhydrid, eller en flerfunktionel1 amin eller en amid med minst tvS aktiva aminokväveatomer, kontinuerligt förs in i en rörformig uppvärmingszon vid ett tryck av minst 20 2 kg/cm och en temperatur som Sr tillräckligt hög för att stärkelseuppslamningen ätminstone partiellt skall gelatineras och sedan övergä tili en varm stärkelse-västka under stärkelsens förflyttning genom uppvSrmningszonen, den varma stärkel-sevätskan under tryck ledes kontinuerligt frSri uppvSrmningszonen genom en läng-strSckt begrSnsande zon och In i en rörformig reaktionszon vid ett tryck ISgre Sn i den stärkelsevätska som införs i den begrSnsande zonen, varigenom en hög-reaktiv stärkelsevätska övergär frSn den begrSnsande zonen tili den rörformiga reaktionszonen i form av en fin spray eller dimma, och den högreaktiva stär-kelsevStskan förs kontinuerligt genom den rörformiga reaktionszonen under bil-dande av en modifierad homogen flytande stSrkelseprodukt.

Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1,kSnnetecknad av att den varma stärkelsevätskan under tryck kontinuerligt leds frän uppvSrmningszonen genom en första längsträckt begrSnsande zon tili en första rörformig reaktionszon som en högreaktiv stärkelsevätska, och den reaktiva stärkelsevätskan leds frän den första rörformiga reaktionszonen till en andra längsträckt bengrän-sande zon och därifrln tili en andra rörformig reaktionszon.
