Claims (9)
1. Förfarande för svetsning av en basmetall, för att ästadkomma en svets med en draghällfasthet högre än 900 Mpa, 5 med användning av en skyddsgassvetsningsprocess, argonbaserad skyddsgas och en smältande svetsträd, kännetecknad därav, att den smältande träden innefattar järn och: 0,06 - 0,10 viktprocent koi 1,60 - 2,05 viktprocent mangan 10 0,20-0,32 viktprocent kisel 1,87 - 6,00 viktprocent nickel 0,30 - 0,87 viktprocent krom 0,40 - 0,56 viktprocent molybden, och vid vilket förfarande används en värmemängd, som är inom 15 omrädet 0,3 - 1,5 kj/mm, varvid ästadkommes en svetsmetall, vars omvandlingstemperatur mellan seg-spröd är lägre än cirka -73°C och vars kristallstruktur är en finkornig rymdcentrerad kub med minst cirka 50 volymprocent auto-anlöpt lattmartensit och mindre än cirka 250/mm2 icke-metalliska inneslutningar ·' 20 med en diameter större än cirka 1000 nm, uppmätt pä en skärningsyta av svetsmetallen. t

5. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 4, kännetecknad därav, att den nämnda skyddsgasen innehäller mindre an cirka 1 15 viktprocent syre.

Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknad därav, att skyddsgassvetsningsprocessen är TIG-svetsning, och svetsmetallen innehäller järn och cirka 1,80 viktprocent : 20 mangan, cirka 0,20 viktprocent kisel, cirka 4,00 viktprocent . nickel, cirka 0,50 viktprocent krom, cirka 0,40 viktprocent : molybden, cirka 0,30 viktprocent koppar, cirka 0,02 • viktprocent aluminium, cirka 0,010 viktprocent titan, cirka : 0,015 viktprocent zirkonium, mindre än cirka 50 ppm fosfor, v 1 25 mindre än cirka 30 ppm svavel och mindre än cirka 0,07 viktprocent kol.

8. Svets som är framställd genom svetsning av minst tvä kanter av en basmetall med användning av en 116273 37 skyddsgassvetsningsprocess, argonbaserad skyddsgas och en smältande svetsträd, varvid svetsen har en draghällfasthet av minst cirka 900 Mpa (130 ksi), kännetecknad därav, att den innefattar: 5 (i) en svetsmetall vars omvandlingstemperatur mellan seg- spröd är lägre än cirka -73°C (-100°F) och vars kristallstruktur är en finkornig rymdcentrerad kub tned minst cirka 50 volymprocent auto-anlöpt lattmartensit och mindre än cirka 250/mm2 icke-metalliska inneslutningar med en diameter 10 större än cirka 1000 nm, uppmätt pä en skärningsyta av svetsmetallen, och vilken vidare innehäller järn och följande legeringsämnen: cirka 0,06 - 0,10 viktprocent koi cirka 1,60 - 2,05 viktprocent mangan 15 cirka 0,20 - 0,32 viktprocent kisel cirka 1,87 - 4,00 viktprocent nickel cirka 0,30 - 0,87 viktprocent krom cirka 0,40 - 0,56 viktprocent molybden: (ii) en värmepäverkad zon; och : 20 (iii) delar av basmetallen i omedelbar närhet av den , värmepäverkade zonen.
