EL APARATO SE APLICA EN UNA PRIMERA POSICION DE EXTENSION DEL CINTURON QUE CORRESPONDE A LA POSICION DE ABROCHADO. MEDIANTE UN SOLO MOVIMIENTO DE EXTRACCION DEL CINTURON POR UNA PRIMERA CANTIDAD PREDETERMINADA DE <HOLGURA>, EL CINTURON QUEDA BLOQUEADO CONTRA EL MOVIMIENTO DE RETRACCION ADICIONAL POR DEBAJO DE ESTA POSICION. LOS MOVIMIENTOS NORMALES DEL PASAJERO ORIGINAN UNA TENSION NORMAL HASTA QUE ESTE REGRESA A LA POSICION DE ABROCHADO.
