EL EQUIPO COMPRENDE UNA FUENTE DE SEÑALES DE VIDEO QUE FORMA UNA SEÑAL DE VIDEO MULTIPLEXADA EN EL TIEMPO, VARIAS FUENTES DE SEÑALES DE SONIDO/DATOS, DIVIDIDAS EN UN CIERTO NUMERO DE GRUPOS, Y MEDIOS PARA PROCESARLAS COMO SEÑALES DIGITALES Y MULTIPLEXARLAS. EL MULTIPLEXADO SE REALIZA EN EL TIEMPO CON LAS SEÑALES PRCEDENTES DE LAS FUENTES DE CADA GRUPO COMO UNA SERIE DE BLOQUES DE BITS.
