PARA EL GRANEADO ELECTROQUIMICO SE EMPLEA UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE UN ELECTROLITO MIXTO QUE CONTIENE ACIDO CLORHIDRICO (CLH) Y COMO COMPUESTO HALOGENADO IONICO ADICIONAL, POR LO MENOS UN COMPUESTO INORGANICO DE FLUOR QUE SE ENCUENTRA EN FORMA DE ACIDO O DE SAL METALICA ALCALINA CUYO ANION CONTIENE FLUOR Y POR LO MENOS OTRO ELEMENTO. EL ALUMINIO SE UTILIZA PARA SOPORTES DE PLANCHAS, QUE SE GRANEAN CON CORRIENTE ALTERNA EN UN ELECTROLITO ACUOSO MIXTO. LOS MATERIALES DE SOPORTE GRANEADOS MUY UNIFORMEMENTE SE UTILIZAN EN LA PRODUCCION DE PLANCHAS DE IMPRESION OFFSET.
