COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, SE IMPREGNA LA SUPERFICIE DEL ARTICULO REFRACTARIO CONFORMADO CON UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE FLUOROSILICATO DE MAGNESIO PARA ESTABLECER SOBRE ELLA UN DEPOSITO DE FLUOROSILICATO DE MAGNESIO CAPAZ DE PROPORCIONAR, POR DESCOMPOSICION TERMICA, MATERIALES VALIOSOS DE FLUORURO QUE MEJORAN LA RESISTENCIA DE LA SUPERFICIE DEL ARTICULO AL ATAQUE POR METAL DE ALUMINIO FUNDIDO; SEGUNDA, OPCIONALMENTE SE PUEDE INCORPORAR AL REVESTIMIENTO ALUMINA COLOIDAL; Y POR ULTIMO, SE CALIENTE LA SUPERFICIE IMPREGNADA PARA DESCOMPONER EL FLUOROSILICATO DE MAGNESIO DEPOSITADO Y PROPORCIONAR LOS VALIOSOS MATERIALES DE FLUORURO.
