PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA SINTESIS DE UN MERCAPTANO A PARTIR DE UNA OLEFINA.CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR LA OLEFINA CON HIDROGENO SULFURADO EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR CONSTITUIDO POR UN RESINA INTERCAMBIADORA DE CATIONES, VERIFICANDOSE DICHA REACCION A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 45 Y 75 GRADOS. LA RESINA INTERCAMBIADORA DE CATIONES ESTA CONSTITUIDA POR UN COPOLIMERO DE TETRAFLUOROETILENO CON DIVINILBENCENO O POR UN COPOLIMERO DE TETRAFLUOROETILENO CON EL ACIDO PERFLUOROSULFONICO.DE APLICACION EN LA PRODUCCION DE MERCAPTANOS TERCIARIOS, PARTICULARMENTE EN LA PRODUCCION DE TERCIO-DODECIL-MERCAPTANO A PARTIR DE TETRAPROPILENO O DE TRI-ISOBUTILENO.
