CONSISTE EN DILUIR UNA SUSPENSION ORIGINAL DE ACIDO SILICICO DE PRECIPITACION, AÑADIENDO AL MISMO TIEMPO SOLUCION DE SILICATO DE METAL ALCALINO, ACIDO SULFURICO Y AGUA MANTENIENDO CONSTANTE EL PH ENTRE 7 Y 9. A CONTINUACION LOS ACIDOS SILICICOS DE PRECIPITACION, SE SEPARAN POR FILTRACION, SE LAVAN, SE SECAN Y MUELEN CON UN MOLINO DE PENDULOS O DE CHORROS. LA SUSPENSION ORIGINAL DE ACIDO SILICICO DE PRECIPITACION ES CIZALLADA INTENSAMENTE DURANTE TODA LA FASE DE SU PREPARACION HASTA EL MOMENTO DE SU DILUCION CON AGUA CALIENTE.
