SE PREPARA UNA EMULSION ACUOSA DE 50 A 80 PARTES EN PESO DE UNA MEZCLA DE MONOMEROS CONSISTENTE EN 20 A 40% EN PESO DE ACRILONITRILO, 50 A 80% EN PESO DE ESTIRENO Y 0 A 30% EN PESO DE UNO O MAS DE OTROS MONOMEROS, Y 20 A 50 PARTES EN PESO DE CAUCHO, COMPRENDIENDO TAMBIEN UN EMULSIFICANTE. SE SOMETE LA EMULSION ACUOSA A CONDICIONES DE POLIMERIZACION EN PRESENCIA DE UN COMPUESTO PRODUCTOR DE RADICALES LIBRES Y AL MENOS UN AGENTE DE TRANSFERENCIA DE CADENA Y SE RECUPERA EL POLIMERO DE INJERTO DEL LATEX RESULTANTE POR COAGULACION DE ESTE LATEX Y SECADO DEL COPOLIMERO DE INJERTO. SE SOMETE UNA MEZCLA DE MONOMEROS DE 60 A 80 PARTES EN PESO DE <007>-METILESTIRENO Y 20 A 40 PARTES EN PESO DE ACRILONITRILO A CONDICIONES DE POLIMERIZACION TALES QUE EL COPOLIMERO RESULTANTE TENGA UNA LONGITUD DE FLUJO ESPIRAL DE AL MENOS 65, UN INDICE DE FLUJO DE COMO MAXIMO 45, RECUPERANDOSE EL COPOLIMERO.
