UN METODO DE EXTRAER AZUCAR DE TEJIDOS DE PLANTAS QUE CONTIENEN AZUCAR. CONSISTE EN PONER EN CONTACTO LOS TEJIDOS VEGETALES CON AGUA DE DIFUSION, A LA QUE SE HA AÑADIDO DIOXIDO DE CARBONO EN PRESENCIA DE UNA CANTIDAD DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO QUE AUMENTA EL RENDIMIENTO DE LA EXTRACCION. LOS TEJIDOS VEGETALES EMPLEADOS SON DERIVADOS DE LA REMOLACHA AZUCARERA, CAÑA DE AZUCAR, SORGO AZUCARERO O MEZCLAS DE ELLOS. LA CANTIDAD DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO QUE SE BURBUJEA ESTA ENTRE 0,25 Y 0,4 KG. DE CO2 POR CADA TONELADA METRICA DE TEJIDOS VEGETALES. EL PH DE AGUA OSCILA ENTRE 5,0 Y 6,5, AJUSTANDOSE AÑADIENDO ACIDO SULFURICO AL AGUA DE DIFUSION.
