Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO PARA RECUPERAR CAFEINA DESDE CARBONO ACTIVADO. SE PONE EN CONTACTO CABONO ACTIVADO QUE TIENE CAFEINA ADSORBIDA SOBRE EL, CON UN DISOLVENTE LIQUIEDO DE LA CAFEINA, QUE COMPRENDE UN ACIDO ORGANICO O UN ALCOHOL, SIENDO CAPA DE DESPLAZAR POR LO MENOS UNA PORCION DE LA CAFEINA DESDE LOS PUNTOS ACTIVOS DEL CARBONO. SE MANTIENE EL CONTACTO EN UN PERIODO DE TIEMPO Y A UNA TEMPERATURA EFICAZ PARA QUE EL DISOLVENTE DESPLACE UNA PORCION DE LA CAFEINA DESDE EL CARBONO Y DISUELVA LA CAFEINA DESPLAZADA. SE SEPARA LA CAFEINA DESDE EL DISOLVENTE POR DESTILACION CON VAPOR DE AGUA O EVAPORANDO EL DISOLVENTE. EL DISOLVENTE EMPLEADO SE ELIGE DEL GRUPO, QUE CONSISTE EN ACIDO ACETICO, CIDO PROPIONICO, ACIDO BUTINICO, ETANOL, BUTANOL Y OTROS.
