CONSISTE EN CALENTAR ISOBUTENIL-3 DIHIDRXI-1,2 BENCENO, EVENTUALMENTE EN MEZCLA CON METALIL-3 DIHIDROXI-1,2 BENCENO, EN PRESENCIA DE ACIDO SULFONICO. LA TEMPERATURA EN PRESENCIA DE UN DISOLVENTE ORGANCIO INERTE. LA CONCENTRACION DE ACIDO SULFONICO ESTA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 0,001 Y 5 POR 100 EN PESO. LA CONCENTRACION DE LAS METALILE ISOBUTENIL-PIROCATEQUINAS EN EL MEDIO DE REACCION ESTA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 1 Y 50 POR 100 EN PESO.
