EL SISTEMA DISPONE PARA SU FUNCIONAMIENTO COMO MOTOR DE UN EQUIPO ELECTRONICO QUE MANDA SEÑALES, A FRECUENCIA DE UNOS 300 HZ, CON DOS NIVELES DE TENSION, VARIANDO LA DURACION DE CADA IMPULSO, PARA CONTROLAR EL FLUJO DE LAS MAQUINAS SERIE (11, 21). PARA ACTUAR COMO FRENO SE DISPONE DE MANDOS PARA INVERTIR EL SENTIDO DE LA CORRIENTE EN EL DEVANADO DE CAMPO. PARA DISMINUIR LA ONDULACION DE LA SEÑAL QUE RECIBE LA MAQUINA SE DISPONE, ADEMAS DE SU PROPIA INDUCTANCIA, DE COMPONENTES CAPACITIVOS EN PARALELO. UNOS TACOMETROS (18, 28) MIDEN LA VELOCIDAD DE LAS MAQUINAS (11, 21) Y SU SEÑAL SE INTRODUCE EN EL EQUIPO ELECTRONICO PARA QUE ESTE EVITE MANIOBRAS NO PERMITIDAS.
