EL SISTEMA DISPONE PARA SU FUNCIONAMIENTO COMO MOTOR DE UN EQUIPO ELECTRONICO QUE MANDA SEÑALES, A FRECUENCIA DE UNOS 300 HZ, CON DOS NIVELES DE TENSION, VARIANDO LA DURACION DE CADA IMPULSO, PARA CONTROLAR EL FLUJO DE LAS MAQUINAS SERIE (11, 21). PARA ACTUAR COMO FRENO SE DISPONE DE MANDOS PARA INVERTIR EL SENTIDO DE LA CORRIENTE EN EL DEVANADO DE CAMPO.
