CONSTA DE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: 1) REACCION DE FRIEDEL-CRAFTS EN EL ACIDO CINAMICO, EN PRESENCIA DE ACIDOS DE LEWIS HALOGENADOS EN BENCENO ANHIDRO, ENTRE 0 Y 80GC. 2) SEPARACION DEL PRODUCTO DE REACCION DEL ACIDO DIFENILPROPIONICO, QUE SE TRATA CON AGENTES CLORANTES EN UN DISOLVENTE ANHIDRO ENTRE 50 Y 100GC, OBTENIENDOSE EL CORRESPONDIENTE CLORURO DE ACILO. 3) REACCION DEL CLORURO OBTENIDO CON 4-AMINOPIRIDINA EN UN DISOLVENTE ANHIDRO, OBTENIENDOSE EL DERIVADO DE PIRIDINAMIDA QUE SE PURIFICA POR CRISTALIZACION, Y POSTERIORMENTE SE TRATA CON HIDRURO DE LITIO Y ALUMINIO EN UN MEDIO ESTRICTAMENTE ANHIDRO PARA OBTENER LA FENPIRAMINA.
