Abstract
Procedimiento de arranque automático de un soplete de corte por plasma del tipo de electrodo y tobera de formación de un plasma, según el cual el soplete está montado con desplazamiento relativo de aproximación y alejamiento de una pieza a cortar, por medio de un motor, se provoca la aproximación de dicho soplete hacia dicha pieza cortar, hasta la aparición de una señal eléctrica de medida de la separación correcta de corte entre soplete y pieza, que provoca la parada de dicho motor y después de la formación de un arco auxiliar de encendido entre electrodo y tobera, que asegura el establecimiento de un arco de energía de corte por plasma, entre electrodo y pieza, caracterizado porque dicha señal eléctrica de parada del motor es proporcionada por la intensidad de la corriente de un circuito eléctrico de poca potencia entre electrodo y pieza.
