Abstract

Una máquina de riego de tambor y manguera de la clase que lleva un tambor con manguera montado para girar alrededor de un eje horizontal y montado o bien directamente sobre un bastidor o vehículo de soporte o bien sobre una torreta o plataforma susceptible de girar alrededor de un. eje vertical con respecto al bastidor o vehículo de soporte, caracterizada porque la máquina de riego incluye dos juegos de rodillos o ruedas de soporte de tambor montadas para girar sobre la torreta o plataforma o sobre el bastidor o vehículo de soporte para proporcionar un caballete sobre el cual está montado el tambor y éste es susceptible de girar alrededor del eje longitudinal del tambor sin tener que prever un árbol de soporte central coaxial con el tambor, teniendo el tambor un par de pistas de rodadura periféricas distanciadas entre sí lateralmente, dispuestas para aplicarse a las ruedas o rodillos de soporte, dos juegos de ruedas de colocación de tambor montadas para girar alrededor de ejes distanciadosde los ejes de rotación de las ruedas o rodillos de soporte del tambor para aplicarse a superficies radialmente interiores de las pistas de rodadura periféricas con el fin de mantener al tambor en aplicación con las ruedas o rodillos de soporte del tambor y para restringir el movimiento hacia los extremos del tambor sobre las ruedas o rodillos de soporte del tambor, estando dispuesta al menos una de las ruedas o rodillos de soporte del tambor para ser propulsada con el fin de efectuar de esta manera una rotación del tambor en el sentido de reenrollamiento de la manguera.
