Abstract
Un método mejorado para la detección y determinación de un ácido biliar o un conjugado del mismo en una muestra de suero sin extraer, que comprende las etapas de: (a) proporcionar un antisuero específico al particular ácido biliar que se ensaya; (b) combinar dicha muestra de suero con el antisuero y el mismo ácido biliar marcado con un agente de marcado (c) incubar la mezcla de la etapa (b) de manera que se deje a cualquier ácido biliar del tipo del que se ensaya y al ácido biliar marcado enlazarse con los anticuerpos del antisuero; (d) separar los reactivos enlazados al anticuerpo de los no enlazados; (e) medir la fracción de los enlazados marcados de la etapa (d) para determinar la cantidad relativa de ácido biliar en la muestra por comparación con los patrones; caracterizándose porque comprende la mejora que consiste en llevar a cabo dicho ensayo en presencia de un agente de inhibidor de enlace, siendo suficiente la concentración de dicho agente para inhibir la retención de los ácidos biliares a las proteínas enlazantes presentes en la muestra de suero sin extraer.
