Abstract

Una máquina centrífuga para lodo, cieno o impurezas , que comprende un rotor hueco (10) montado en disposición rotativa sobre un eje, y que tiene un espacio de separación (14) provisto de una abertura de admisión (24) para un líquido contentivo del lodo y de una abertura de salida (26,27) para el líquido separado, poseyendo también el rotor una abertura periférica de salida (29) para la descarga del lodo separado, en dicho espacio (14) una válvula de pistón (30) situada en el rotor (10) y que es móvil axialmente respecto al mismo, para abrir y cerrar la abertura de salida (29) del lodo.
