Abstract

Mejoras en un proceso de producción de acero silícico electromagnético dotado de una orientación de cubo sobre borde, cuyo proceso incluye las operaciones de preparar una masa licuada de acero silícico que contiene, en peso, del 0,02 al 0,06% de carbono, del 0,015 al 0,15% de manganeso, del 0,005 al 0,05% de material del grupo consistente en azufre y selenio, del 0,0006 al 0,008% de boro, hasta un 0,0100% de nitrógeno, hasta un 1,05% de cobre, menos del 0,005% de antimonio, menos de 0,009% de aluminio y del 2,5 al 4,0% de silicio; la fundición del citado acero; su laminación en caliente y luego en frío; su descarburización; la aplicación al mismo de un revestimiento de óxido refractario y la recocción a la textura final de dicho acero a una temperatura máxima de 126ºC.
