Abstract

Proceso perfeccionado para la fabricación de acero al silicio electromagnético que tiene una orientación en cubos de canto y una permeabilidad de por lo menos 1870 (G/Oe) a 10 oerstedios, proceso que incluye los pasos consistentes en: preparar un caldo de acero al silicio que contiene de 0,02 a 0,06% de carbono, de 0,0006 a 0,0080% de boro, hasta el 0,0100% de nitrógeno, no más del 0,008% de aluminio y del 2,5 al 4,0% de silicio; colar dicho acero; laminar en caliente dicho acero; laminar en frío dicho acero; descarburar dicho acero; aplicar un revestimiento de óxido refractario a dicho acero; y recocer dicho acero a la textura final.
