Abstract
Le procédé selon l'invention comporte la préparation d'une charge d'acier au silicium contenant 0,02 à 0,06 % de carbone, 0,0006 à 0,0080 % de bore, jusqu'à 0,1 % d'azote, au plus 0,008 % d'aluminium, et 2,5 à 4,0 % de silicium, la coulée de l'acier suivie du laminage à chaud, du laminage à froid, de la normalisation à une température de 700 degrés C à 1 100 degrés C dans une atmosphère d'hydrogene ayant un point de rosée de - 6,6 à + 44 degrés C, l'application d'un revêtement à base d'oxyde réfractaire, et le recuit de texturisation finale, la durée, la température et le point de rosée pendant la normalisation étant réglés pour obtenir au moins 320 ppm d'oxygène dans les dix microns à partir de la surface de l'acier. L'acier ainsi obtenu convient en particulier pour les circuits magnétiques.
