Abstract
Un método para recuperar Cr2O3 de alta pureza que comprende (i) proporcionar una solución acuosa de una sal seleccionada del grupo constituido por Na2Cr2O7 y Na2CrO4; (ii) añadir un ácido a la solución de la etapa (i) para proporcionar un pH de aproximadamente 1 a 2 ; (iii) poner en contacto la solución acidificada de la etapa (ii) con una amina terciaria disuelta en un disolvente orgánico para recuperar cantidades valiosas de cromo de la solución acidificada en una fase líquida orgánica que contiene cromo (iv) tratar la fase orgánica que contiene cromo con una solución acuosa de NH4OH para obtener una solución de (NH4)2CrO4; (v) someter la solución de (NH4)2CrO4 a evaporación para proporcionar un material sólido que contiene cromo; (vi) calcinar el material sólido que contiene cromo para obtener Cr2O3
