Abstract

Procedimiento para la construcción de cuerpos moldeados de fibras de material vegetal con contenido de celulosa, diferente aquellos cuyo material originario es la madera, en el que el material con contenido de celulosa se limpia, tritura, se macera en un medio acuoso, se lava con agua y se reduce a fibras, las fibras obtenidas se deshidratan después y valiéndose de aglomerantes se prensan para formar cuerpos conformados de fibras, caracterizado porque el material con contenido de celulosa se macera entre los 5 y 40ºC en un medio alcalino acuoso y después se reduce a fibras hasta un grado de molturación SR de 9 a 35, porque el material reducido a fibras de tal manera, después de la deshidratación con un aglomerante endurecible de alta fluidez y susceptible de rociado se recubre en una cantidad de aproximadamente el 5 al 15% en peso, referida al peso total del material fibroso y el aglomerante (con deducción de disolventes y agentes de dispersión), se rocía finamente y el material fibroso rociado se comprime primero en frío y después antes de su conversión en el cuerpo moldeado que se desea, en caliente, o bien se presenta en caliente, o bien se prensa en caliente con carácter inmediato.
