Abstract
Un dispositivo de láser de descarga en gas que comprende una envolvente de vidrio, al menos parcialmente cilíndrica, que contiene, o forma parte de, un tubo de láser y que comprende, además, dos espejos de láser que cierran la envolvente y cuyos ejes ópticos coinciden con el eje longitudinal del tubo de láser, caracterizado porque la envolvente de vidrio colocada en un soporte está rodeada al menos parcialmente, y sustancialmente de modo coaxial, por una funda metálica que está soportada en y alrededor de al menos una parte de la envolvente de una manera sustancialmente flotante sólo por medio de elementos elásticos que tienen un bajo coeficiente de elasticidad, estando provista la funda metálica, al menos en la superficie interior, de una capa negra para aumentar la absorción de la radiación térmica.
