Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase volume productivity by forming a silver print on the outside lateral surface of a capillary and using this as a cathode lead-in terminal at the time of baking the stem penetrated with the capillary. With such laser tube, a silver print 19 is formed along the outside latenal surface of the capillary 15 at the time of combining the stem 17 closing the right end side of the enclosure 1 with the capillary 15 and powder glass forming disc 16 and baking these. One end of the connecting lead 18 drawn out from the cathode 10 is connected and fixed to the silver print 19 by means of a fixing band 20. Hence, there is no need for any cathode lead-in bar, which eliminated the need for glass fusion work by manual work.
