Abstract
Un aparato para medir y corregir la característica de calibración de un analizador fotoeléctrico de aerosoles, que tiene una boquilla y un manantial luminoso y un receptor sensible a la luz entre los cuales se establece un acoplamiento óptico en el momento en que una partícula de aerosol a medir pasa a través de la boquilla, que comprende un interruptor pulsatorio de luz con un orificio calibrado, un motor eléctrico acoplado mecánicamente con el interruptor pulsatorio de luz y una guía de luz para proporcionar un acoplamiento óptico entre el aparato y el analizador de aerosol fotoeléctrico, estando dicho aparato caracterizado porque la guía de luz está dispuesta dentro de la boquilla del analizador de aerosol fotoeléctrico, estando una cara extrema de la guía de luz dispuesta dentro del analizador de aerosol fotoeléctrico hecha como una bola para proporcionar una distribución uniforme de lujo luminoso en una zona de trabajo de analizador de aerosol fotoeléctrico, estando dicho aparato provisto de un generador de impulsos luminosos controlable para medir y corregir la característica de calibración del analizador de aerosol fotoeléctrico y un medidor para medir la intensidad del flujo luminoso en la zona de trabajo, siendo dicho generador y dicho medidor de flujo luminoso instalados, uno cada vez, por encima de una cara extrema plana de la guía de luz, teniendo el generador de impulsos luminosos controlable un alojamiento que acomoda un manantial luminoso situado delante del interruptor pulsatorio de luz de manera que el flujo luminoso procedente del manantial luminoso pasa a través del orificio calibrado e incide sobre la cara extrema plana, y un ajustador de luz conectado eléctricamente al manantial luminoso, teniendo el medidor de flujo luminoso una disposición en serie que incluye un receptor sensible a la luz, ópticamente acoplado a la cara extrema plana de la guía de luz y un manantial de tensión continua, ambos dispuestos dentro del alojamiento del medidor de flujo luminoso, y un galvanómetro.
