Abstract
Procedimiento para preparar el ácido libre del antibiótico BL580ZETA, cuyo compuesto: a) es afectivo como un agente anticoccidial; y en su forma cristalina esencialmente pura; b) tiene un punto de fusión de 105º-107º C; c) tiene el siguiente análisis elemental(por ciento): C: 63, 99; H: 9,43; d) tiene una rotación óptica [ ]20D = 2º+- 2º ( C-0,9 en metanol); e) tiene un espectro de absorción característica del infrarrojo (como se representa en la figura 4 de los dibujos) caracterizado porque comprende cultivar Streptomyces hygroscopicus NRRL 11108 ó mutantes del mismo, en un medio nutritivo acuoso que contiene fuentes asimilables de carbohidrato, nitrógeno, y sales inorgánicas, bajo condiciones aerobicas sumergidas, hasta que se imparte una actividad sustancial a dicho medio; y recuperar luego del mismo el antibiotico BL7580 ZETA.
