CEPA SF-1 (ASA)<005>, EXTRAYENDOSE DEL MICELIO Y/O DEL MEDIO DE CULTIVO LOS ANTIBIOTICOS ANTIFUNGICOS TETRAENICOS. LA PRODUCCION DE LOS TETRAENOS SE PUEDE HACER EN MEDIOS SOLIDOS, O PREFERENTEMENTE EN MEDIOS LIQUIDOS. EN ESTOS SE PUEDEN OBTENER LOS ANTIBIOTICOS TANTO POR CULTIVO EN SUPERFICIE COMO SUMERGIDO, SIENDO ESTE EL MAS ADECUADO. SE DEBE COMPONER EL MEDIO DE PRODUCCION DE UNA FUENTE ASIMILABLE DE CARBONO COMO GLUCOSA, FRUCTOSA Y SIMILARES, UNA FUENTE ASIMILABLE DE NITROGENO, TAL COMO HARINA DE TORTAS VEGETALES, SALES MINERALES COMO AMORTIGUADOR DE PH AL MEDIO Y ACEITES VEGETALES O ANIMALES COMO ANTIESPUMA. >SE UTILIZA PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE INFECCIONES DE MICROORGANISMOS PATOGENOS TANTO EN ANIMALES COMO EN PLANTAS.
